Ok I'm 16 and just today I have been experiencing some dark brown discharge. Sometimes it's normal and clear, other times it's brown. It only started today and I am due my period soon. I am not sexually active. What could this be?

Brown discharge is normal. It is just old blood.
Lots of people get it. Nothing to worry about.
It happens alot just before a period.

Even though I've never had it before? I'm due my period anytime now, I don't know, I think it's going to be late :-/

There is always a first time for everything.
Sometimes a period will start with brown spotting, then turn into a period.
There is nothing to worry about.

Some people get spotting with ovulation also.
LIke I said, It's nothing to worry about.
But if it makes you feel better, talk to your Dr.

hey look lol you have nothing to worry about, before i ususally start my period it could be a week or up to two weeks before i start but ususally a couple days or so ill get dark brown discharge and thats how i know ill start my period. Its just old blood and the beginning of a period ususaly.. I have'nt had the brown discharge all the time. It just depends on heavy i think heavy the period was last time. If your on birth control pills that could have a lot to do with it. There is NO need to worry what so ever everything is normal k? -chrystal
