Lately I haven't been feeling well. I feel tired all the time, no matter how much sleep I get. I seem to need more sleep. I slept til noon today. Sometimes my hands feel numb like. I get headaches a lot. Sometimes I feel nauseaus and just not well. I also get dizziness sometimes or sometimes this weird feeling will go through my head but it only lasts a second. And sometimes my pulse races too fast. I don't know what this could be. I want to go to the doctor to get tested but have no idea what to say I need to be tested for. Anyone know what could be wrong?

You said you're tired and the first thing I thought of was Mono, which can be diagnosed with a blood test. That's a classic sign of mono but also another is swollen glands. Just go to the doctor, you don't need to know what you need to be tested for. Just tell the doctors every symptom, even if they don't seem related. They may be able to put things together and know what to test you for.

Hi:
What kind of heat do you use? I ask because I suffered a couple of years ago wtih chronic carbon monoxide posioning and experenced all of the symptoms plus a lot more. But I could have been exposed a lot longer too.
Do you have a detector?
Good luck and keep us posted.

I have many of those same symptoms. I find that often, mine comes from depression and anxiety. Currently, I'm not taking any prescription meds for it, taking some Country Life Mood Enhancers, and relying on my friends and my boyfriend to help me through it.
Good luck...

Sapphyre,
I have depression and anxiety as well and when I read your post, that is the first thing that I thought of... although I agree that carbon monoxide would also be a good thing for you to look at as well as mono and many other things... there are truthfully sooo many things that would show symptoms like you describe.
You do need to go see your doctor... you don't need to know the answers about what to test for or what the doctor will look for in order to make an appointment... but you absolutely should see a doctor about your recent changes in your health and well-being... Doctors go to school so that know what tests to order, you only need to tell them how you feel and they will order the appropriate tests.
Honestly, most doctors hate it when patients tell them exactly what tests they want done on them... almost any professional would be a little bit offended if someone walked into their office and told them exactly how to do their job :)
So call your doctor and make an appointment.
Good Luck,

P.S. I have found that if I sleep too much, that I feel even more tierd and more unwell... you may want to try getting yourself on a schedule where you go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning.
