I am only 20 yrs old and covered in stretchmarks, I have not had any children. I have always been a little bit overweight but never "huge". I have them the worst on my breasts and upper arms. But also on my stomache, hips, butt, legs, and back. I am so incredibly self concious about them and do not wear clothes that show them ( t-shirts that show my upper arms no tank tops, no low cut shirts that show clevage, and no shorts.
My question is, is there anything that can be done about them? I have seen/ read that they are scars and will not go away. Are there creams that have worked for anyone? Has anyone had a laser surgery for this? Any info is greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Shiz

I have been dealing with stretch marks most of my life. I'm not overweight, I'm about 5 foot 6 inches and weigh 135lbs, so anyone can get them. I have had them espically bad on my breasts since I was "well endowed" at an early age. Before my first child was born I tried everything on the market to not get stretch marks and nothing worked. I asked my doctor during my second pregnancy and he told me that some people get stretch marks and some don't. He said it's all about genetics. He did tell me if I was really interested in having them removed to do some research because there's alot involved and pretty expensive. It sounds kinda silly, but I like my tummy stretch marks because I got them from my children, the other ones are just annoying. But as far as not being able to wear the clothes you want, I understand that, I'm only 22 and there is alot of clothes I'd like to be able to wear but can't beacuse of the stretch marks. I'd do a internet search to find out more. Good luck!

I have them all over too. It is very depressing. They disgust me the most on my breasts and upper arms. The one place I don't have them is my stomach. Man can walk on the moon, but there is no way to easily get rid of stretchmarks. I have had them since I was about 14. it makes you miss out on your youth. I have never had a child either, i got them from being way too fat. My own fault I suppose.
