I have a question I have prolly 5-6 skipped beats a day flutters thumps etc sometimes they last 3-10 seconds anyhow. Awhile back I went to the hospital for these and the doctor gave me a chest x-ray he said it looked fine what was he looking for anyone know????

Chest congestion can cause skipped beats and tachycardic feelings. So they would check for that. However, what your doctor was most likely looking for was the size of the heart on the xray. An xray is an excellent tool in determining whether the heart is enlarged or not. it can also be used to determine whether there is fluid build up around the lining of the heart.
