I found on two supplements (Galantamine & Idebenone) being promoted for Alzheimer's Disease. It looks convincing. What do you think?

To Snowy Lynn, Had you tried anything before the Reminyl? My Mom has been on Aricept, Celebrex and then Exelon and we're not seeing any changes at all. Just took her off Exelon due to terrible headaches and panic attacks ...KBC

I was on Aricept for 4 years, then it quit working in March this year. Some don't last that long on it before It's time to try something else.Celebrex Is not meant for AD.It's for Arthritis,I think.LOL.I still laugh alot with friends who also have AD.Some have written books.......Ther's alot we can still do If people will listen, rather than back away. There are people who really believe you can catch it.Now that's funny!!!LOL

TO KBC:
My mom started with Aricept and then tried Exelon and could not tolerate either. She got sick on both. She has been taking Reminyl for a year now and has had no side effects PLUS it seems to be helping.
It's worth a try...everyone reacts differently to different medications. good luck!
