My surgery is being done at 8am. I am not nervous yet, but I will be by the time I am in the waiting room. My ENT decided to keep me in the hospital overnight. I will probably never get any sleep. I am so worried about the pain because I am not sure what to expect.

I want to thank everyone that wrote about their Tosillectomy experience, so that those of us waiting to have this procedure will know what to expect. Please wish me well because I know some tough days are ahead. I know in the end it will be all worth it.

I didn't stay overnite for my surgery and I was glad my roommate kept turning the heat and I was dying cuz i was so hot. I was so glad to go home. As for the pain. woudn't want to do it again. But I would say compared to having mononucleosis a tonsillectomy was a peice of cake.
