My husband was restarting our furnace when it exploded in his face.
He is in the hospital for a while with burnt corneas - and burns to his face and neck which will be assessed by a plastic surgeon.
His eyes were thoroughly irrigated but there are literally thousands of particles adhered or as the doctor put it 'tattoed' to his eye balls. They removed some of the big ones with a needle.
I am having trouble finding any info on corneal burns... does anyone have info on it?
He can see so I guess that is a positive thing for now.
Thanks in advance.
Tammy
