i was diagnosed with fibro 2 ys. ago but the fatigue is just getting worse and worse i was wondering if i could possibly have cfs too could someone please let me know what the symptoms are... i get these attacks that last a 3-7 days where i can barely can get out of bed does this sound like cfs. :confused:

i would suggest you do a search of google and look at the defining criteria for CFS on the sites, although the overlap for CFS/FIBRO is quite big. And seeing your doctor and explaining this to him/her would be best, prehaps you could see a CFS specialist? i know you can have both, cos i do, but i predominantly have CFS rather than fibro!

I agree about doing research. Try doing a search on google for the CFIDS Foundation for a definitive list of symptoms necessary for that diagnosis. I can say this, however, the main requirement is that when your symptoms first started (and this is not just muscle aches and pains but also having at least 8 out of the 11 symptoms necessary for a CFIDS diagnosis) they have to have continued for at least 6 months without let up.
