I have had three surgeries in the last three years. One surgerywhere I was put under something called twilight. Two under general anesthesia. My first surgery for a tonsillectomy was unfavorable experience. I woke up with the endo trach tube still in my throat and I gagged then I went into the recovery room where the woman next to me was having an asthma attack and all I could here was her coughing and gagging which was making me sick to my stomach so I started vomiting blood. My recovery from general anesthesia gave me constipation issues and I didn't go to the bathroom for almost a week. My third and hopefully my last was to remove a mass from my throat which was also done under general anesthesia. I told the anestiologist that I had adverse effects from my last surgery and he gave me some kind of medication before my surgery and I felt fine afterward except I got a very bad sinus infection which sometimes happens.
