Hey everybody, let's say Happy (pain-free) New Year to our dearest friend!
**************************************** ************************
Dear Shoreline,
Over the past year, you have been like an angel to us all. Every time we had a difficult or complicated question, you were there. Putting aside your own pain, you ministered to us all. A doctor, a parent, a priest, a teacher, a friend. You have so much experience in pain management, and you learned it all the hard way. Yet you still give freely, without a thought to ask for help for yourself.
When I get lonely, I always pull up the board, and reread your past posts. Your clarity, intelligence and generosity are an example to us all. Your kindness, sincerity and compassion are the soothing comfort we seek while in our endless pain. Your example gives us courage in our sorrow and despair. You are a light which shines in our night.
I never imagined that I would have something to be thankful for in a life of pain. But I am thankful for you every single day.
We will meet in heaven many many years from now. You will be there above us all, and you will be surrounded by your millions of friends. We will all be laughing and sharing good memories of the challenges we overcame with your help. I hope I can squeeze in there to say hello.
Thank you Shoreline!
From the bottom of my heart.
Love,
Lily

P.S. I'm so sorry if it was my last post which was the cause of your 'vacation.'

I think Shore is on "vacation" again. Hopefully not permanently as I also have learned a lot from him. I hope we will soon see him back here.

Thanks, The misunderstanding has been corrected and I'm back from vacation. So much of what we are is what we do, mainly for a living. Unfortunantely I'm not presently able to work but I really do get a sense of some worth being able to help folks. Thank you all and take care, Shore

Dearest Shore,
You are a remarkable influence and help in the lives of so many, including myself and we have all learned so much from what you have given to this board. I just wanted to thank you and give you a big hug from me, as I havent been able to give you the chance yet, but think of it so often when your name comes up in a thread and Im reading with interest because of the care and time that you've spent in taking to that post! Thank you!
With much Love and Many Prayers :D

Hey, Shore great to see your back. I was worried it was permanent. I noticed things didn't look "right" so that got me looking for you. Anyway you are very much needed on here for all of us. Welcome back!!

I haven't been here very long, but I also think you are a great asset to the group, Shore. I've read alot of your posts, and you seem very informed on issues regarding chronic pain. I can tell you've really done your homework! I'm glad you are still here
