I'm trying to find people who really understand those words. I am interested in sharing ideas about this topic and using them in real life. I have lots of questions about it but no one really understands even when I explain.

Hi Leanea,
What's not to understand? being concious of all things while maintaining inner peace SHOULD be a concept taught in kindergarten, yes?! I know what you mean, though.
I think the ability to truly understand the meanings of these, and more importantly, be able to put them into practice is something people won't get until the spiritual (NOT religious!) awareness has reached the maturity TO understand. Do you know the saying, "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear"? (or something close to that). I think it works in a similar manner.
Enjoy your search,

I really understand it.........but understanding it means understanding that the search never ends. So I've still got questions but where is my teacher?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Interesting question. Could be, I suppose. Or, perhaps, you are mine. I think this makes a good point for us BOTH to meditate on.

Hello Copper :)
What's not to understand? being concious of all things while maintaining inner peace SHOULD be a concept taught in kindergarten, yes?!
Well said! There are other things that should be taught in kindergarten, even better from birth! Like - How to flow with Empathy! Imagine if everyone understood their empathic nature?

Mindfullness means being present in the moment to momentness of our ordinary life, whether that is doing the laundry, having a conversation, carrying out the trash.
Meditation is a way to turn from seeking satisfaction from external sources to better understanding ourselves and the nature of our suffering. Through a meditation practice we also develop the ability to handle any difficulties that may arise with more equanimity.
