Hi Everyone,

My Dad died of lung cancer at the age of 47, my brother died of lung cancer at 30. they were heavy smokers, I am 43 and a heavy smoker.
I am showing signs of this cancer, that is how I found this board.
spitting up blood
broncitius
right arm pain
cough
minimum chest discomfort

I am going for a MRI as soon as I am approved by this other insurance company.

My question is this: What would you suggest I do to prepare incase my doctor tells me I have lung cancer.
I have insurance, but I am tring to get better insurance before my dease is discovered by a doctor
I have also gotten more life insurance
I have started making payments on a funeral
I have gotten all my paperwork organized so my family won't have problems at my death.

What else can I do to make this easier on everyone? And easier for me, like tring to get better insurance to have better care.

Is there anything else that needs to be done?
should I consider Cancer Centers of America, are they a option for good care?o
What would you suggest folks? I want to be prepared for my death.

Thanks so much
