I dont have much thick hair but I would really love to have some more hair grow on my crown to cover the white scalp. Does anyone recommend anything or have any suggestions? Also, is there anything I can do to help my hair grow more thicker and more beautiful?
Also, when I wash my hair, I seem to be losing some hair along the way. I wouldnt be freaked out if its a tiny bit but its not like its falling out in clumps. All I know is that the hair can wrap around my finger. Is that normal?
Thanks all!

Are you male or female? If either, have your thyroid checked out.
Also, you may have inherited the baldness gene.
Get a thorough check-up by your doctor. You might have a deficiency.
Are you also losing hair elsewhere on your body, such as your eyelashes or eyebrows? It could be an autoimmune disorder.
Hope you find the reason why.

I have just started using a shampoo, conditioner and drops (you put the drops on your scalp to stimulate growth) system called Power Plus. You have to get it thru a beauty salon. They use it for balding or thinning hair. Also, my beautician says she uses it for her chemo patients and it really helps the hair grow back.
I'm not losing my hair, but I have thin hair and want it to grow faster. I have been using the system since Dec. 24th and already I see a difference. My hair is stonger, softer, and hopefully I will see more growth.

Im a female. I dont think I have inherit a baldness gene because no one in my family loses hair nor have this problem. Im only 15. Im thinking it might be stress or it can be that Im too rough when I wash my hair. I think I lose about 10-20 strands each time I wash my hair. Is this normal?
It may not seem like alot but over time, it adds up.
I would really love thicker hair so I might see if I can get Power Plus. By the way Lissie, did you notice more hair growing from the crown/main scalp? That would be so good!! Also, do you think it can also have negative affects as to actually losing hair. Another thing, do you think its safe for a 15 year old to use?
Thanks for the replies guys!

The hair does grow from the main/top of the scalp. Negative effects to acturally losing hair - don't think so. Safe for a 15 year old? I would check with your beautician. I would think so. Like I said, even today I noticed the back of may hair looks so healthy, and is actually growing.

It's about $30 and I haven't gone thru a set yet. I started using it December 24th, and still have about 1/2 left. You don't need much.

I really like this Power Plus. It sounds really promising!

You can try. I'm not sure, but I would imagine you can. Just do a search for Power Plus hair shampoo and conditioner. Let me know how it turns out.

Yuma,
I found a website for you that carries the Power Plus. It's as follows:
ColorSalon.com
I think it was $40, but it kind of talks about it.

Yuma,
Go to the site, and at the top is some boxes. Click on the box that says Power Plus (the middle box). Then the next screen talks a little about it, and in the upper right hand corner, there is a "buy now".

Are you on any kind of medications that may have this kind of side effect because I have this same problem but it was caused by a med that ai was on.I thought it would stop after I stopped taking the med but it hasnt.Maybe I will try that power plus treatment also

Thanks! I see the site now and it looks really good!
BjLindsay, No Im not on any medication. I noticed that my hair dont fall out too much if I wash it earlier. Probably because when I wash it later, the oil builds up. I tried washing it earlier, and not much is falling out anymore. Im gonna try to Power Plus too!
