My doctor told me about a year ago that I was anemic. Is it dangerous to have this. And what are some of the reason people have this? Is it going to cause me health problems?

The most common cause is Iron deficiency, cuased by a lack of certain foods. Are you a vegitarian? How old are you? Pernicious Anemia is a different type of Anemia where the person is low on B-12. Get more details from you doc, or get a new doc. Also, there are many websites out there to explain Anemia. I wish I could think of the names now, but just do a search.
