Hi I have a question. I was by my hematologist about 1 year ago that I have iron defiency anemia. The way that found this out was when he did a bone marrow biopsy. He told me that I literally had no iron. That he did not see a trace of iron in me. And that I was hypocellular for my age group. Could this be a stronger type of anemia rather than just iron defiency anemia? I have all this and I am only 23 years old. Lately my hair has been falling out, and I have been getting a ringing in my ears, and tightness in the back of my neck. Can you get a ringing in your ears, and a tightness in the back of your neck, because of anemia? With anemia when you turn your head, or have your head in a certain position for a little while can you feel like you gonna pass out? And has anybody ever gotten muscle twitches from anemia? Can some please help me? I would appreciate it.
Thank You

Are you being treated for the anemia? I have low iron, yet told I was not anemic. My low iron is caused by my hypothyroidism and i take daily iron pills. With these symptoms, it sounds as though you are not getting the proper treatment for your anemia. I would suggest doing all the research you can on what you have and how it should be treated and then going to the right doc to get the proper treatment. Nowadays, we have to be our own detectives when it comes to our health. That is how i found out about my hypothyroidism, and low iron, by researching all my own symptoms. Good luck to you. Kamden
