I realize in the advanced stages, 44 years being Anemic and untreated, there may be a variety of physical dominos falling (irregular heartrate, breathing problems etc). My question is what types of neurological problems arrise and how do they manifest themselves.

I have concentration problems that have appeared ADD, and mild.. recently both my anemia and that has become more severe and I am treating the anemia finally. Latest is inability to visually concentrate, rapid eye blinks in morning which I cannot stop.. It stopped itself.

Info please... thank you.

It depends on what kind of anemia you've got. In Vitamin B12 deficiency people can get impaired vibratory and position sense, difficulty with walking, mental changes. In sickle cell anemia can have transient ischemic attacks and even stroke. I am now aware of any specific neurologic disorders in iron deficiency anemia except for fatigue, weakness, or headache.

Thank you for you response... funny how all this subsides with seveal weeks of iron... Many symptoms.. one treatment.

The makers of floradix listed a variety of symptoms of anemia. If I can find it I will post it.
