My husband has been suffering for over two years and has numerous tests, he went to a neurologist on Friday who told him he was sure he had MS. He has numbness and tingling in his arms and legs, fatigue, chest pains, headaches with blurred vision, a zapping sensation in his lower face and has trouble with his bowels and bladder. I've noticed his arm shaking when he does things for a period of time, like writing. They sent him for a MRI of the brain and spinal cord on Monday and he saw the doctor this morning. Well the report wasn't back from the radiologist, but from what he saw on the copies of the films he feels my husband doesn't have MS and isn't sure of the cause. He is now sending him for some kind of electrode test. Has anyone else had an experience like this? I would hate for my husband to get his hopes up only to find out the radiologist saw something different. I'm not sure whether to just go by what the doctor felt or wait until the report comes in from the radiologist. I'm sure it has to be pretty obvious on the MRI's if it is MS, but I don't know if the doctor is an expert at reading films. It is getting very frustrating to both of us that they can't find the cause. Thank you for listening. Also, I should mention my husband was diagnoised with degenerative disc disease last year, but they say that wouldn't be causing all his symptoms.
