Hiya Ashlee
Well I don't think we have talked much, yet. But lets remedy that now.
So what form of ed do your demons take? Personally I mostly like to starve myself. Sometimes I purge too, but I never binge. The edauk say I am anorexic, but I'm not one for labels.
So this horse thing, it is kind of on subject because it is a support forum and we are sharing about how horses help keep us going when things are bad. Isn't that right my sweet mods? And I swear that was not sarcastic because I am all sweet and lovely. Hee Hee!
I am currently looking to buy my first horse. I am a serial lingerer at the stables I go to at the moment. I help everyone else to look after their horses and ride as often as I can. But I am sooooooo looking forward to getting my horse! :bouncing:
I too love just spending time with horses, they are just fantastic, I love grooming them, riding them, drawing them, etc!
When I get my horse I am looking forward to doing proper competitions. At the moment because the ones I ride aren't mine I only get to do little comps. No fair! But I live right near to a huge forest so I go riding there for hours on end.
You are sooooo lucky living where you do and riding some of the Lord of the Rings horses!
Ok better go, else I will go on all day :nono: which won't be good :D
Hugs from Aurora

Hi Aurora. :)

Sorry for the late reply Aurora, I haven't been able to access the Internet in a few days - or use the computer at all thanks to my sister! :nono: )

As for my eating disorder, I like to think of myself as recovered now. :D It all sort of began when I was about 13 or 14 and I was on-again, off-again with anorexia for the next few years. During 2002 (when I was 16) things got really bad and I became severly bulimic and depressed. Although like you, I never binged while I was bulimic. I left school after that year and found a really great job and have been there since. I think maybe because I don't have the pressures from school (I'm deffinately a perfectionist, hehe), I stoped worrying QUITE so much about my weight although I've still had a few really bad bouts of depression since then. I'm 18 now and will be continuing with my studying later this year.

I think it's excellent that you're getting your own horse! Riding other people's horses is fun but it's never quite the same, huh? I'm sadly trying to sell my Thoroughbred now as he has a really bad bucking and rearing problem! I've been searching for a new horse for over 6 months now and still haven't managed to find the right one! It's so frustrating!

Riding in the forestry sounds fun! Where I live we have permission from all the owners to ride our horses on their land, so we can take them up on the hills and in the rivers and everything. It's so much fun! We take them to the beach every now and then for a change but it's a little difficult as in the past I've always had to depend on using other people's horse floats!

Well I've rambled on enough already so I better stop. It was nice hearing from you! It's always fun when you find someone with the same interests as yourself. One last thing, I love drawing and painting too! One day I'd like to really get into painting and possibly even try to sell some of them (although no one would probably buy them!)

Take care!
Ashlee
