So now i have really dry ends and its all different lenghts and spilt. Does any have tips? Should i cut it? Is there any product that helps?

You can have your hairdresser trim off the split ends and even up the lengths. I would usually use a razor rather than shears to do this on very curly hair. I didn't like the 'blunt' look the shears gave the ends when the curl would bounce back up. Mind you, I said TRIM and a lot of hairdressers will take off more than an inch of hair. To me, a trim is about 1/4" - no more!

After you wash your hair, towel dry and apply a good conditioner for severly dry hair. A good one is Extreme by Redken and you should be able to get it from your local salon. You can also use a small amount of straight jojoba oil applied to the ends to rehydrate the driest portion, but be sure to only apply a few drops - you wouldn't want your hair looking oily.

I have straight hair and my ends are very dry too. I've tried all kinds of deep conditioners and oils. Most of them don't work for me. I guess the onlyl thing you can do is cut it off. Or maybe try pantene hydrating deep conditioner - but you have to leave it on for 1/2 hour, not the 3 minutes like it said. My hair does feel softer after I leave it on for 1/2 hour. But I need to use it at least 4 times a week or else the ends of my hair will feel dry again.

Hey try this when you use the deep conditioner put a plastic bag
that will hold heat in & use your hair dryer to heat it up! That helped mine alot!

A natural remedy to use for split ends is to apply coconut oil and lime juice. Also, if you ever make your own fresh juices, a good juice for the hair is alfalfa and fresh spinach. And...to keep your hair healthy in the future, make sure you get all of the B vitamins in your diet :)

There's no way to get rid of split ends without cutting them off. The best way to keep from getting more after they're removed is to keep your hair very well conditioned. Like Marti said, a conditioner for severely dry or damaged hair is a good idea. I condition my ends before I wash my hair. Then, I wash with a 2 in 1 and condition again. I then use 2 leave in conditioners, and I also use oils on my dry hair. This has really helped me. Now, I have very curly hair that is down to my waist.

The only way to repair split ends is to cut them off. If you don't they will only continue to split up the hairshaft. Going to the salon every 6 to 8 weeks for a trim ( I call it a dusting) will maintain healthy hair. Your hair will grow long and look and feel well. Taking care of your hair is most important when going it out. DO Not let it go and get split ends. Your hair will never seem as if it is growing when you do, because it is actually breaking off. So see your hairdresser often. Take care!

I got splint ender for christmas but broke right away without cutting your hair that only thing I can think of. Plus I dont really get splint ends because I get my hair cut once a month so another reason I took it back to the store and got store credit. Everything I see on INfo commerical I want than when I get the product and not happy because they alway's make it look so much better on tv.

You should have your hairdresser just trim the ends first so that you can get rid of them. Then you should start using a deep conditioner a couple of times a week which will help your hair from then on. I use Loreal smoothing mask which helps to make your hair very soft when you leave it on for a few minutes and smoother also.

I'd recommend hot oil treatments, deep conditioning and trimming to keep it up. Also, even if you hair isn't--you CAN use color-treated products and this actually helped mine even though mine is naturaly the color it is and curly!!!
