My husbands MRI results are normal except for the degenerative disc disease, which is causing his spine to press against his spinal cord at C4 and C5. He goes in next week for an electrode test and the doctor told me they still can't rule out MS. They started him on Celebrex and Lexapro. So now we just sit and wait. One thing that I have noticed is that he jerks alot in his sleep. Does anyone else have trouble with this or is anyone on this type of medication?
Thanks again.

I had a quick diagnosis......only took 10 months to go from possible to definite MS. I can imagine how hard it is to wait to go through all of the tests, but they have to rule out other things to get to a diagnosis. There are a lot of other diseases that mimic MS symptoms.

As for the twitching thing, I have read that many other MSers experience twitching and even thrashing legs when in bed. Personally, I have buzzing in both legs at night. I think I notice it more because I am not moving around.

Good luck to both of you, and I hope you can find a quick conclusion to your worrying and wondering!!

I used to have a lot of twitching, but since I've started with Copaxone, I don't get it as often (but still do occasionially). It's different for every MS'er, but I believe I have read before that twitching can be a symptom.

Best of luck to your husband! :)
