Hi....be careful with the premarin. If you smoke you may want to talk to the doctor about it. I was on it for 23+ years and was only recently told that with my smoking I was a walking timebomb waiting for it to explode. I am no longer on it but it is better to be on a ERT then an HRT.

Why are you on Topamax? Paxil is just for depression and Topamax is for seizures. Not sure of those two.

Hope this helps some. :D

topomax also serves as a mood controllant, it has newly discovered uses i guess.

Topomax has not been FDA approved for anything but seizures. Neurologists give it to help prevent migrains as well but some people, like me for instance, can not take the drug.

it's in the pill handbook, i found it at chapters, also used for mood controlling, if it wasn't FDA approoved, why would they issue it to a teenager with constantly changing chemicals in their brain? that could have screwed me.

Hi Little Loon, I was taking Topomax for a while (as a mood stabilizer and as an anti-seizure medication AND as a sleeping aid) and my psychiatrist told me that it would probably interact with my birth control. I think you had that on the list? I stopped taking mine. I'm married though so I wasn't too scared. We use condoms all the time now. So if you stay on your pill, and you are sexually active, back it up with condoms. Just in case.
Good luck,
Meg

Little Loon,
The FDA has not approved Topamax for anything but seizures and has gone against the manufacturer for that reason. It may help as one but can not be given out as a mood elevator. >^..^>))))~~

Little Loon- Meg's doctor is right. I did an advanced search of drug-drug interactions and found that TOPOMAX and TRIPHASIL can cause a serious interaction re: decreasing the effects of the TRIPHASIL significantly.

When these two medicines are taken together, your body may process the estrogen in birth control pills more quickly and also your ability to process the seizure med may decrease.

Not sure what is in Sleepease but if it's an antihistamine, that too can be a problem with this mix.

No problems found with taking Paxil or Premarin with the others.
