I am quite a bit overweight and am losing weight. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I know that be fat can make getting pregnant hard cause of your hormones being out of wack from being fat. Does anyone know of a natural herb that I could take to help make me more fertile? I know you can take clomil (spelling?) to help, but I would have to go to the doctor to get it and the doctors here in the country that I live aren't very helpful to women as I have learnt since moving here. Thanks!

Evening Primrose Oil helps. Take it in the first half of your cycle only. Take about twice what the bottle recommends. Also, it sounds like your issues might be because of PCOS if you are overweight. Check out the boards on that. If your problem is PCOS, then Saw Palmetto is probably going to help you, and a low carb diet will do wonders for you (PCOS is usually an underlying insulin problem).

Suzannah: i have been kinda diagnosed with pcos...i had an ultrasound done which showed "a string of pearls" of cysts on my ovary..
i have also sufferred from acne since the age of 11 (off and on)...im 22 now..
the doctors dont tell me for sure though if i have it...i have seen 3 different ones
i have been on diane35 for a year now...and i took accutane last year..my skin is great now....but i dont like being on birth control..
but im scared to go off birth control in case my acne returns?
im meeting with a naturopath this week to discuss the issue
do u or did u suffer from acne related to pcos? if so, what did u do to help it?

I've read that drinking a cup or more of Red Clover infusion a day will help in infertility.
