Does anyone know if this is alright to do? I'm having a hard time sleeping during my first weeks of Paxil, so I was wondering if I could take an Ambien to help me in that department? Thanks.

It worked well for me but unfortunately I'm still taking it every night. Be careful you don't take it more than a few weeks or you might become dependent on it. It is at least milder than some of the benzos that people use for sleep; I don't have and sleep "hangover" the next day. Hopefully you'll get used to the Paxil and won't need a sleep aide after awhile. holst Meg28 01-22-2004, 06:18 AM Hi Jeff, it is fine to take these two pills together but not without your doctor's approval. I was on Paxil years ago and I was taking sleeping pills and that was all through my doctor's consent. Good luck! Meg |
