Tina27 01-21-2004, 04:59 PM Hi, i read from somewhere that changing biological clock can cause highblood pressure? i sleep 6 to 3pm & awake from 4 - 6pm Sponsor zip2play 01-22-2004, 08:16 AM Hi Tina, I believe that fully. I have quite a circadian rhythm to my BP...highest soon after awakening and lowest in the evening infront of the TV or in a theater! I think most people have similar rhythms. Changing the rhythm is probably quite disruptive to MANY bodily systems especially the hormonal mediated ones like BP, metabolism, mental acuity and sexuality. Rick7799 01-22-2004, 08:41 AM Mine is also highest in the morning upon awakeing. It will be even higher if I didn't sleep well. nospin06 01-22-2004, 07:20 PM I agree with zip and rick. I find my BP to be highest in the morning and lowest in the evening at night. With Verapamil, my morning/noon readings average 135/65. At night, my readings average around 125-130/65. |
