I know this is like many other questions posted here but here it goes anyway............

about 2.5 weeks ago i noticed a small red pimple like area at the base of my penis right where the hair starts. This has me freaked out since about 5 months ago i had a 1 night stand w/ a very promiscous person, i used a comdom but it failed and it took me awhile to notice(drunk). i thought it might be a infected hair but it is between any hairs that i can see. i have had no other symptoms like fever/pain or anything ususual before this thing appeared.. it started getting better after a few days and i did put some antibiotic cream on it since i did squeez it like a pimple when i first found it...after 2 weeks all healed and gone??? so besides the obvious thing i fear that i may have, could anything else explain or have any experience with something like this???

i think you should go to the doctor and make sure. If it comes back positive, believe me, you are not screwes. everyone thinks life is over once you get herpes...its not..it actually makes you stronger and healthier in a way.
