As some of you know I am going to school and majoring in criminal justice to be able to work with teen addicts. Great news I have my foot in the door for juvenile drug court. My counselor from when I was in drug court asked me if I wanted to help out, of course I said yes, then I found out the Judge who is running drug court has know me since I was 11 years old and she is very excited to have me on board I am not going to payed for this but I don't care if I can help one kid from having to go through the kind of life I have gone through every thing I have gone through would be worth it. I am not sure when I will start I have a meeting next week with all the staff running drug court but I am so F----n happy I could run down the street screaming. Every one wish me luck.

Stacey, I only have a second to check in, but just had to say congratulations!! That is so exciting!! Now you can make what you went through mean something, and you can share your deep wisdom you have acquired. See, that is something we that are still trying to come clean are aspiring to, is the wisdom that is on the other side.

Hi Stacey,
Congratulations  on your new job. I'm sure your going to make a positive difference in a lot of young lives. They will be able to identify with you because of your past experience and it will be much easier for you to gain their trust. And you are right, if you can make a positive difference in one of their lives, it will be worth it all. I hope you will keep me informed of your progress and how you are doing with the job. What better person could they have chosen then you, a role model to help guide them in the right path and help them fulfill some dreams and goals. I wished someone had helped me when I was a teen. It could have made all the difference in the way things turned out, instead of ending up with a lifelong battle with drugs. May GOD BLESS YOU Stacey and guide you as you embark on your new journey! Take care.
