For the past month or so, my partner and I have been eating more fruit and particularly the proverbial "apple a day," raisins, bananas, grapes and oranges in an attempt to eat more healthfully and consume more fiber. Has anyone had the experience that candy starts tasting way too sweet when you're eating more fruit?
One reason I've been semi-concerned about it is because my mom died of pancreatic cancer and said the first thing she noticed was that she didn't much like sweets any more. What makes me think that has nothing to do with my own sense of taste is that my partner is feeling the same way.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
