Hi Pinky:

Thanks for asking. My new splint hasn't come in from the lab yet. I called the DDS office and they said it should be there by this coming Monday. My facial muscles are feeling really tight, so I put my old splint back in. That usually helps. How are you? Have a great weekend.

Hi Pinky. Thanks for thinking of me. I'm holding my own I guess. I lost a chunk of bite splint in the back on the left side one night during supper. Thought I just got an extra crunchy piece of chicken until I felt the rough edge against my tongue after supper. I'm scheduled to go to my ortho Wed. this week for more impressions and a new splint. This was a planned part of my treatment and not because a chunk broke off. I'll get the new splint on Feb. 4th. I just hope it's not built up any more than what I originally had - this feels natural now, and I just don't want to have to get used to a new feel/alignment.

Otherwise, I'd say my neck and shoulder pain, and headaches are reduced. The fluttery muscle feeling in my shoulder blade hardly ever occurs anymore so must be things are getting more relaxed. Jaw pain is minimal.

I'll keep you posted on what happens at my Wed. appt.

Thanks,
Katie G

Hi Sunshine

I 'm glad your splint is coming in soon. Is yours a
repositioning splint?

I m ok getting use to my new crowns. They feel
wierd. But seem to be helping with symptoms.

Hi Katie
Wow that's funny that your splint
fell apart and you thought it was chicken.
I hope you get your new one soon.

Hi Pinky:

I'll be getting my new splint Thursday. It's a good thing b/c I ended up breaking my current splint today. I did something really brilliant. I took it out of my mouth, put it in a tissue in my pocket, bent down to pick something up off the floor and heard it crack in the middle. I've got my original splint in my mouth now. I'll just wear it til Thursday am.

I hope all your symptoms go away and the crowns work out great.
