Hi I am new to this board and I am a little scared, but I really need some advise.
I have been overweight all of my life. My parents started taking me to doctors when I was like 5 yrs. old to find out what, if anything, was wrong. Anyway, lately I have stopped eating. I feel guilty when I eat so I don't. I have lost about 40lbs in about 6 months. I like the results, but I don't want to continue down the guilt path when it comes to eating, and I am to embarassed to get help around here. What should I do?

Don't feel guilty when it comes to eating. Your are only human. Maybe it will help you to watch what you eat and excerise if you don't already. I get so sick of this society thinking you have to be so darn thin. The important thing is that you are happy with yourself.

I would hate for you to turn into having an Eating Disorder because they are not worth it and very dangerous for your life.

Be Careful!!

You have nothing to be embarassed about sweetheart and dont ever feel you are a failure.you have taken a huge step just by coming here. odviously you realise things are not right and you recognise that you need some help with this one.
Why not write your parents a letter , explain how worried you are. Or is there a teacher or counsellor you feel you could talk to?Its really important you tell someone. Dont bottle it all up and keep posting. We all care what happens to youxxx
