View Full Version : Acupressure stories anyone?

I've known for a long time about pressure points and massage, but have never been to a licensed acupressurist.

Am considering trying to find one and schedule a visit, but don't know anything about them or if it's worth a try.

Has anyone here been to one? If so, share your stories, please.

Thanks ~

Acupressure is a field in itself, quite different from schools that concentrate only on massage. I would find someone certified or licensed in this particular modality as their skills are different from a masseuse or an acupuncturist. Shiatsu is different in that it involves moving across the points rather than holding them, but most practitioners (Shiatsu or Acupressure) utilize both methods in a session.
