View Full Version : Hello everyone! Hydro free now for two months!

Hello everyone, some of you may remember me. I have really bad back problems and started taking the 1-2 Hydro's a day... then 4... then 8... then up to 10 @ 10mgs.

I was spending too much money around the back of my family. I was taking too much to fix the pain and the addition.

I finally had enough in late November and went to a doctor who helps with these problems.

He prescribed me Suboxone and I started on 2 (2mgs) twice a day and now I am on 1 pill twice a day (2mgs).

That's 4mg a day of Suboxone. I'm sure I will be going to 1 a day soon.

My question is, does that seem (4mg) like a low amount? Am I on the road to being 100% free?

I feel so much better now not taking the pain pills!

PS: One thing that has helped me through it all besides the sub is Ambien. The pill from God. I have been taking it for years because of my sleeping problems, but during the process of getting of Hydro's it has been even more helpful.

Anyway... I just want to remind people that if you are looking for help, please consider going to Suboxone way. It's a godsent.

Congratulations to you! Please keep us posted on your experience with the suboxone. I am so thrilled that it is working for you. Is insurance covering it? I am not on it, but have considered it. I am trying to quit by tapering right now and have made some progress.

Insurance isn't covering the doctors visit, but they are the meds.

I would highly recommend going this way out. It's almost a "get rich quick" way of getting yourself back on the right path. The normal path.

I am so extrememly happy for you that the sub is working, but just remember there is no such thing as a "get rich quick" anything! I have also been on the sub and getting off of it was horrific. There are others here that share my story and situation.

I am not trying to discourage you- if it works for you- fantastic. You may can take it for life- that is originally how it was intended to be used.

Not is not something you should worry about now though- just enjoy being healthy and happy and CLEAN!

Congratulations,
Michelle
