I know that there are side effects to every medicine. Do you all feel that the side effects of Valtrex out weigh the benefits of using it?

Singer - I don't have any side effects from Valtrax and I take it prior to an OB, usually 1 week before my period. It's starts with a sting/tingle sensation, in the gential area. My doctor told me to start taking as soon, as I start feeling any symptons. I take 1 1000mg. tab., once a day for 5 days. It seems to lessen the severity of my OB. But, the symptons, still last for a week. I was dx. in 10-03 and have had an OB once a month since then. But, I also take alot of different vitamins to try and boost my immune system. Take Care, -Orn I think for the most part anymore, Dr's shove out the door as fast as they can. They don't take a genuine interest in really getting to know their patients. Amen to having this board! This is the best support that anyone can really get! Take Care! :) |
