oh lord yes, I get that way myself. Been a few times I've been so upset I couldn't sleep for a couple of days. I do a lot of computer repair work, and get so mad I end up throwing mice (always my own, not the person's I'm workin on)
My wife can get me that way sometimes, talking about things that are stressful for me (even if they dont make sense to her) and I get all wigged out and so angry I just wanna destroy something. I am with ya, know how the rage can feel, and either it's part of being bipolar, or we're just alike =)
Hang in there, try not to let the rage take over. {Content deleted}

I loose it all the time...
Every since I was a child... When I was like 8-9 years old, if I was upset, I would run to my room and throw my bed all over the place... I would grab the mattress and toss it... I would tip over the box spring... I would yell and scream...
Of course, my parents though this was perfect behaviour, hence why my diagnosis is 22 years late (I am 30 now) :D

I do. Although I think for me it's more "frustrated" than angry. Not too long ago I was trying to fix one of our closet doors, after trying unsuccessfully for about 10 minutes I gave up and kicked the darn thing(many times!) instead. I was in tears over the stupid thing. For the most part if I get that worked up about something I beat up on a pillow instead - it's a lot easier on my hands! ;)

I get angry all the time, self-injury is my best way to get rid of it. And if I don't then I get really bad anxiety. I start to studder really badly, get a nervous twitch and tremble. But of course no one cares, because i've been studdering ever since the first grade.
PS if you ever feel you should self-injure, burning is the best way, cutting can be lethal if you're really angry.
i dont like pain. when i get mad, i dont wnat ot hurt myself, i want to break stuff. i think a loud smash is from a good hard hit is pretty stisfying....also (disclaimer, it was honestly an accident, and i will never actually do it again on purpose:) ) i was on a highway once, in rush hour traffic, trying to get in another lane, but the guy infront of me kept slowing down speeding up talking on his cell, so when i finally got to the point of switching he slammed on his breaks andswerved and i hit his bumper with my truck......it felt REALLLLLY good. esp cause my truck is a beast and cat get wrecked very easily.....

LOL Weasel!! The truck bumper. How MANY times has this ALMOST happened to me. The other day this young young person (some little twerp blond, at least ACTING like a twerp, about 16 or 17 years old) was riding my rear bumper BIG TIME. There was no need of it, cause I move right along, in fact many times I get speeding tickets, as I just naturally like speed, and tend to drive very fast. LOL. :nono:
Anyway....I tapped my brakes a couple times, looked at her in my rearview, and could see her scowling back at me. This was IN the city, in a 25mph zone, where I was doing almost 40 to begin with... FINALLY I HAD IT!!! I LOCKED up my brakes, well...LOL, she ALMOST hit me, she had to swerve hard to the side of the road. MAN was she MAD!! She gave me the f____r, and I could tell she was swearing away at me, I waved to her in my review, tooted to her, and kept going. HAHAHAHA!!! :D She had a little toyota corolla, and I have a 2003 Buick Park Avenue. SHE would have had to have paid for all the damage, cause in THIS state, no matter WHAT the circumstances, if YOU hit someone else, YOU PAY!!!!!
Anyway, it felt SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!
Just wanted to let you know I know how you feel. I almost threw my brand new lap top that I got for xmas. Glad I didnt, cause then I wouldnt have you guys to write to. hehe
Later all.....
Suzi :)
P.S. Nothing against Toyotas, they happen to be my MOST favorite of all car makes. I have a Toyota truck, wish I'd been driving THAT, cause she probably would NOT have missed THAT bumper. LOL  Oh, and ALSO nothing against blonds, I AM one, hahaha :o

I have always wanted to install a retractable bumper... So when people are in front of me and getting me all angry (while driving) I can hit the magic button and knock'em off the road...
Then I figured that was too expensive...
So I am considering buying some bricks and keeping them beside me in my car... Now I can pelt it at peoples windows if they tick me off...
Of course, I said this to my boss and he thinks I am absolutely insane :D

Yes. I get so angry/frustrated that my stomach churns and I can't eat for the rest of the day. I want to scream and pull my hair out and vent, but I can't do anything at all because I want to do so much to relieve the anger. When I get off my normal routine, ever miss a day of meds, or am super-stressed, I get frustrated and angry really easily... It's like I'm a powder keg with a "super short fuse," and everything and everyone else is walking around with sparklers...
I really identify with the whole breaking stuff theme. Breaking stuff is a fantastic and immediate way to ease the rage... but it comes with a cost. I've broken some nice stuff, and some stuff that meant a lot to me. I broke my knuckle hitting a wall, and there are two holes right now in my apartment that I still need to patch. I've been really good about it recently, especially because it scares my girlfriend, who lives with me. I'm looking at buying a large punching bag to assault as an acceptable outlet for my anger. I've noticed is that the more I allow myself to explode, the more often it happens.
One thing I've found is really helpful is to exercise. It helps reduce cortisol in your body, which lowers overall stress & tension. On really bad days, I tense up to the point of cramping. When I can't tense any more, I start looking for other outlets for my anger, which comes quickly on bad days. If you reduce the level of cortisol in your system, it'll help relax you.
Ahh... computers and bipolar... I get monomanic about computer problems, and can't let the computer "beat me." So as time passes, I grow more and more angry to the point of wanting to throw, kick, break, etc. the computer & its peripherals... that'll show it who's boss. At any rate, I've learned that if I feel myself coming to a boil, I'll take a step back and relax.
I don't know if any of you are in the same situation as me or not, but a lot of anxiety meds tend to cause *ahem* problems, so I can't take them. I don't want to play doctor here, but something that's really helped me is a small Xanax prescription to supplement my other meds on days that I feel like I'm going to explode. Call it damage control. ;)
