I am 37 years old and have "arthritic changes" in both hips, bone spurs, and have two lumbar discs that are deteriorating. There is a lot of pain in my back all the tim. Is there meds that I could request from my ortho doctor, is there surgery involved? Could anyone give me some insight??

I have been taking Celebrex 200mg 2x a day and have had my hips injected with cortisone several times. Sometime it is better and sometimes it is not. I feel it is just an ongoing thing that will never completely go away.
