Hello everyone! I hope that this message finds everyone in pretty good spirits. Well I have news and would like to share it with all of you. About a week ago we found out that I am expecting our third child, a little surprized but still happy. We me being so sick all the time and us already having two great boys we had pretty much decided no more. But everything happens for a reason and we will love this child just like the other two. Anyway about three days after I found out I was expecting my lawyer called and said that my disability case had been won. After two years of fighting for it, I was glad for the news. I was happy to hear this news just days after we were going to have another little one. I have stopped taking all of my meds because I don't want to risk hurting my baby, I would rather really suffer for a few months then doing something to my baby. I know a lot of you have gone through pregnancy with fibro, what did you guys do? I'm so sick not only from being pregnant but also from stopping my meds. I thank you for your input and can't wait to hear from you.

I am on my third (also a suprise) baby as well-and the FINAL addition to this family. I am due in the beginning of July. I stopped my meds as soon as I found out in November. The first trimester was hard for me feeling morning/say/evening sickness but now I am somewhere around 17 weeks and feeling better with the sickness. I dont know what other types of problems you have but stay in tune with your body and do not do too much since it is already making a baby and that in itself is enough stress. I wish I had some words of wisdom but I havent found any either. All my docs will give me is tylenol and tell me to use a heating pad for soreness. Congrats on the pregnancy and your winning your disabaility case. I have been trying about 2 yrs as well now, we got bfore a judge sometime soon since i got denied again. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Take it easy! :)

I will keep my fingers crossed for you too. I am due at the very end of August, this should make for a great summer! I am sick all day long too, it has never been just morning sickness. I was really sick with both my other kids too, I ended up in the hospital on an IV for almost a week. My husband just says you better enjoy this pregnancy because it's our last. And I have to say that I agree with him, even though it doesn't make it any easier for me to enjoy it right now when I can't keep my head out of the toilet. Well I hope things are good for you, and good luck with your disability case.

Thanx for the good thoughts Tawny-
I forgot to tell you what helped me when I was nauseaous all day long was lemonade, potato chips, and those seabands (wristbands that put pressure on the acupoints @ your wrist). I could only wear the seabands for a few minutes at a time-I have carpal tunnel as well- but they helped. Also, I kept the Altoid Lemon Sours candy in my bag.
My fibro first flared when I had my daughter in 2001, I had some problems previous, but nothing that incapacitated me the way FM did. Maybe iwht any luck, we will kick fibro once these babes are born? A happy thought!
