with out getting into too many details. has any other guy had problems sexually when using lexapro?

mainly reaching orgasm.

it's really starting to piss me off, and want to make sure that its the lexapro doing this, not just me (i sure hope not).

From what I hear and read, most AD's do cause sexual side effects... But they tend to "wear off" after some time... How long have you been on your meds?

4 weeks say... Give it some time... I know when I went on Celexa, it took almost 2-3 months until the "sides" kinda of drifted away...

Then all I was left with was like 2-3 sides, eg: dry mouth, tired, etc...

Same problem. I was able to get hard and perform...but could not finish.

umm :rolleyes: do you have probs reaching orgasm on your own? I'm on lexapro and I've had the same problem I don't mind getting into details, I very nearly get there having sex but have to finish up on my own. I've been on lexapro 2 months and it's getting better. One thing though is my orgasms have been way better than when I was depressed like haven't been able to walk properly afterwards.

I also have to finish myself with the help of the female. I always took a long time finish normally, but on Lexapro, it makes it impossible. I'm going to try Wellbutrin next.
