I just want to know how much of a difference you have gotten with pilates? I want to tone my belly up while I lose weight but I don't like cardio. Is that enough just to tone with dieting? Thanx!

Well, I've been doing Winsor Pilates (the videos) for about 2 and a half to 3 weeks, and I've definitely noticed a difference in my own physical strengths (mostly my abs). But as far as inches goes, I haven't *noticed* a difference yet (I haven't measured myself since I began, I just haven't noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit). I'm like you--I don't like cardio. I have an elliptical at home though, so I think I'm going to have to start using it if I really want results. Pilates will raise your metabolism because the more lean muscle mass that you have, the faster your metabolism (I believe). But I still think if you really want results, you should do cardio also, and watch what you eat. Hope this helps!
