I have a pretty simple question for you all. I've been on the Atkins diet for a while now and have had success with it. So far, I have lost 65 lbss and I feel great! I have been on a plateau for the past 3 months or more so I decided to put myself back on the Induction period to see if it could kick start my weight loss again. Well, it has been so long since I have done Induction that I can't remember how it felt the first time around. My question is: Have any of you on Atkiins gotten bladder infections from being on the Induction period? Or, if any of you have medical experience, is it possible that excreting the excess ketones can cause a bladder infection? I smell really funny too, but I think that might be from the ketones.

This is more a curiousity question than anything. Either way, I am headed to my doctor tomorrow.
