i was at my doctors on jan 13th and he added another 4mgs of avandia and 750 mgs of glucophage XR and i have been doing alot better. now after dinner when i take the glucophage my sugars are 120 or under 2 hours later. so now i take 30 mgs of glucatrol

750 mgs glucophage XR
sometimes my first morning reading are low if i dont eat something sweet before bed.
i cantnot take more then 1 pill aday of the glucophage or it will make me sick but the one pill seems to be working great. i havent lost any weight yet either. was hoping i was gonna lose some, oh well

The important thing is that you've got your blood glucose under control. Congratulations!

If you're trying to lose weight, try adding some exercise, which might help. Also, a diet that causes a slow weight loss (no more than 1 1/2 to 2 pounds per week) is likely to result in better long-term success than a crash diet that causes a rapid weight loss.
