Short Version:
I'm on 400 mg of Lamictal. I have constant body shaking. If feels like my body is moving all the time. If I have my legs crossed, you can actually see my foot moving. It's driving me nuts! So when I went back to the neuro, he gave me Klonopin thinking that I wasn't sleeping good, and it would stop the shaking. I was sleeping fine, just nightmares every night.
Any clues as to why I am still shaking even after the Klonopin. It's been about 3 weeks now. It really is driving me crazy. I try to offset the feeling by constantly moving a body part, like my feet.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am so very sorry! This must be so annoying. Call the pharmacist and ask him to look up side effects of Lamictal to see if tremors or shakes could be from the med. Then I would call the neuro and tell him, AGAIN, that this is driving you nuts and the Klonipin is not helping.....
So sorry wish I could help more!

Did you Say Nightmares???
I've just increased my Lamictal to 300mg a day and though I have not noticed any shaking - I have had nightmares - or weird weird dreams every single night consistently.
Have you always had strange dreams???
Love Kaitie

 No, I've never had crazy dreams before. These nightmares are so vivid. It's like nothing I've ever experienced before. I talked to the neuro, and he said that shaking and nightmares are not side effects of Lamicatal.
Maybe I'm really going crazy.

IF you are going crazy - then I am too...and it must be some horrible coincidence that we are both on Lamictal. :D
Take Care...
Love Kaitie, and seriously - I do have strange vivid - VERY VIVID dreams every night - and the only thing that can account for it is lamictal - so lets start something here!
