in a week, i'm going to be flying to miami to go on a cruise [yay!]... im trading the -30 C for 30 C. ;)
anyway, i was wondering if people with TMJD have had bad/good/indifferent experiences with flying. did your ear symptoms get worse? did you develop new symptoms after flying? is there anything i can do before flying to prevent problems?
i've been on planes many times before, but that was before my TMJD got really bad.. mind you, im getting better [im still in shock. heh], but im still petrified of getting worse after the flight.
anyway, thanks for the advice and whatnot.

Hi Saaraah:
Lucky you. Have a wonderful time. :bouncing:
I was worried about ear problems too, especially since I'd developed really bad noise sensitivity. I flew last October and had no problems at all.
Take care.

Hello
I flew on flight and had incredible pain on the landing in my ear, the going up and in air was sort of OK. but the coming down I felt like an 8 year old kid who couldnt get his ear to pop and wanted to cry out loud. However everyone is different, Id say the warmth will probably help your jaw though :)
