I've been in quite a few weight ranges in my life and I'm only 20. I'm 5'4 and weighed about 170 during middle school, then lost a lot of it by junior year in high school and weighed 130lbs. At age 19 I had a problem with some medicine and gained all that weight back. It took about a year of eating healthy and exercising 3 or 4 times a week to finally lose the weight and get to what I am now, 122lbs. The problem is, at all of those stages, I've had the same little patch of cellulite on the back of my thighs up near my bottom. I use an elliptical machine and do various other exercises but nothing has helped that area. My thighs are fairly small, but the appearance of 'bumpy' skin back there makes them look fat. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any solution?

I have personally found that lunges are the best way to go for your thighs. Hold a couple of light weights (dumbells) in each hand and take a walk. With each step, you back leg's knee should almost touch the ground. I tend to do 3 sets of about 20 sets (2 times a week) and my legs can feel it. Definitely a quick way to shed the pounds on the the quads and hamstrings

If you've lost that much weight and have done your best to get rid of it by excersize, I'd suggest liposuction.
I just met with a plastic surgeon about mine. I've been walking 2 miles a day for a year now and just have this mean little patch I can't get rid of.
Typically, (unless you gain alot of weight) it should be gone forever.
I think some of it's genetics because friends I know tend to be getting it now (in their 30's) and they have been taking after their moms.

Cooder, how much did your plastic surgeon say your lipo was going to cost??

Hi, I just would like to anyone who is interested in liposuction, to read in details about the procedure. Liposuction does NOT help cellulite, in fact it does clearly say that a lot of people will have worse case of cellulite after lipo. Lipo is to reshape body only. I have had lipo on my thighs, and I am one of the lucky ones that cellulite did not become worst, but improved by 50%, but I was also ready to face the facts that it could have been worst. Please stay away from any plastic surgeon who promises the impossible, not until they do find a specific cellulite solution. Read all you can, ask as many questions as possible before committing into such a procedure.
