Cayenne, garlic, ginger, and ginseng are all good.

Thank you. Will add some of those. He already takes the garlic.

You can also add the amino acid taurine, magnesium, potassium, hawthorn, and coenzyme Q-10 to the list.

Today, I'm purchasing a new product for high blood pressure. It's Twinlab Blood Pressure Control which is C-12 Peptide. I just heard about it yesterday. I also hear that Celery Seed Extract is also good.

I have high blood pressure and I looked for herbs and other things that might help. I did not find anything that would help me, so I take a diuretic called maxide. It is a type that preserves potassium. If your BP isn't too bad, you may be able to control it with diet. I have not bitten the bullet myself and controlled my diet properly. I'm over weight as well. I suspect that those things are the main reason I found nothing that would help out.

This is off the beat and path but thought I'd mention it. Having a pet to stroke and brush or a fishtank for creature watching...These activities have been known to bring down pressure. I have had pets and notice a difference myself. Ps: There is a potassium salt substitute on the market that's pretty good. They list a warning to check with your doctor first before taking it.
