I want to get the Walk Away The Pounds videos and use those because I love to walk but it just too cold right now. My question is, can I use that as cardio? Would it be considered cardio? I need something that is simple and quick since I have a 2 year old to run around after. I want something I can do while he is taking a nap! Thanx!

They are great!!! I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old...Those are the ones I've been using and I just love them. I'm do the 1 mile one and then I get on my eliptical for 15 mins...

Don't think they're weak because you just walk in place, Leslie Sansone really works you!!!

Good luck,

A.

They could technically be considered cardio, but if you really want to burn fat, your heart's gotta get into the target range (and if you wanna destroy fat, go HIIT).

I am doing the 3 mile walking away the pounds for abs video, and it is definitely higher intensity than the 1 and 2 mile. The music is on double time and you can really work up a sweat.

I know it is a "walk in place" program, but I haven't seen it yet... is there any way to do it on a treadmill? The reason I ask is that I have a treadmill (which is collecting dust) right in front of a TV. Thanks.

I do not think that you can do any of those moves while a treadmill is moving except swinging your arms but there are videos that are out there for treadmill walkers..Do a search for treadmill workout videos and see what you come up with..
