I was wondering if anyone out there has had thyroid cancer as well as diabetes. I had my last thyroid cancer surgery in 1980 and was diagnosed with Type 2 in August 2002. My diabetes is currently being controlled with diet and I take Synthyoid (among other things). Is there anything I need to be aware of. I will see my endo in April for the thyroid check up. This appointment I will add diabetes to our discussion. I'm feeling fine but was just wondering if there is anything to be aware of.
