I'm taking Zonegran and have been on it since Nov. 2003. Switched from Diltiatin to zonegran but it seems like the zonegran isn't working either. I used to get warning signs before a seizure happened but I'm not getting them anymore. I would usually see spots before I would have a siezure but now I'm not get no warning. Friday me and my wife were here at home and I had one in the bathroom. My wife came in there she said I shook for about 2 minutes and then all of a sudden stopped and she had to check to my pulse to see if I was still living. This was the worse seziure I'd had in probably 8 to 9 years and my wife said it might have been my most worst one ever because after I got done shaken she tried to put her hand under my head and she said I threw punches at her but she said I was still out of it. She said after that I backed up to the wall and laid my head on the bathtub and closed my eyes and fell asleep until the ambulance got there. I don't remember any of this happening, when I finally could remember when what was going on they were taking me out of the house on the strectch to the ambulance. Down at the hospital all they done was a sodium check and they checked my sugar and that was it. So I'm going to my neurolgoist tomorrow and I hope he will change my medicine.

Changed med. from Zonegran to Keppra. Starting off on 1000 mg a day plus the zonegran but slowly coming off the zonegran. Probably will end up on 1500 to 2000 mg of Keppra. Hope this works. Having MRI Monday. Thanks :)
