View Full Version : Bowen, neurolink and NAET

Hi:

I've had tmjd for the last 2 years, and have recently tried splint therapy, so far without success, although I haven't given up. The splint seems to increase my tooth and gum tenderness, making it very hard to wear. It also started my gums receding, which they've been doing due to tmjd for a long time.

I was speaking with a dentist today, who said since splint therapy hadn't helped, it didn't make sense to spend more money on dentists. He said his patients have had success with bowen, neurolink and NAET therapies. The NAET is particularly for allergies, as he felt I might be allergic to the splint material. Also at the time my tmjd started, I had my first composite fillings, so he thought I could be having an allergy to that. He usually sends his patients for compatibility testing before using composite - too late for me. The Bowen and neurolink sound feasible, but the NAET sounds like a bogus treatment.

Would love to hear whatever any knows about them, especially first hand experiences.

Thanks.
