hi everyone. the Dr. called with Gage's second EEG test he had done 2 weeks ago. they said it was still abnormal with siezure activity. what ever that means i guess. im not sure how bad it was. told me to keep him on the zarontin and keep his appt. with the neuro on the 25th and she would tells what to do from there. he was on 1 tsp. 3 times a day, and she switched him to 2 tsp. twice a day because it wasnt working anymore. was a little disappointed with the results but had an idea it would show the siezure activity. just have to wait and see what the neuro says i guess. hopefully this gets easier to deal with. its like waiting for that special present under the tree and you come down and its not there. thanks for the vent.

That is EXACTLY how I felt! But I did not expect the results I got. I truly thought we were doing well! ugh. We go to the neuro on Feb. 24 for our consultation. He too kept Tiff on the same meds until he sees us. It is so hard to document and keep track of the seizures when you can't see them!
Glad to hear from you...keep in touch and VENT all ya want! that is what we are here for! :bouncing:
bye for now

Jennifer,
I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't get better results with Gage's tests. Vent away!!!!

Hi Jennifer,
Know that you are not alone in your hopes and disappointments. Jake goes back tomorrow and Daddy should get the full run down (I can't make this appt. - tell you why under a different thread). But, we heard the same thing. Still abnormal - esp. during sleep cycles.
He's now 133 days seizure free however... so we're not sure what to make of it either.
Lindy, I don't even worry about recording them... If I can't see it, I can't see it. That's what the EEG is for I guess. But, it is hard knowing there's something going on that you are not aware of.
Need to scoot. I'll tell you my MIA story later in the morning.
Missed you all!
Love and light

You might ask the neuro about a PET scan. It shows things that the MRI does not. Good luck.
