Does anybody hold any knowledge on the power of the mind on the body? I'm curious because it seems alot of people are troubled by what their fears can psychosomatically create. Also, I've had health anxiety, which causes all sorts of troubles in terms of obsessing about symptoms and the ultimate simulation of them. Does anybody know of any psychological or neurological fact that explains this? Cheers.

Well, the mind has great control over the body. I'm sure you've seen those firewalkers who can tell their body not to get burned. I'm sure that some OCD sufferers could solve it with therapy alone, but others simply need medication, also.
