How common is it for RA to come and go through life? I'm 32 and was diagnosed at 26. I originally couldn't even climb stairs but now am back to work as an electrician. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and lose my job when I can't perform my duties.
Also, how much damage am I doing by working through the pain caused by residual damage from previous bouts with RA?
